As someone with dental trauma, I was super nervous when it was time to book an appointment. Just the presence that they have online, in their website immediately made me feel safe enough to book and attend the appointment. They were super professional, patient, friendly and understanding, I have never felt so safe and unjudged before. I appreciate them so much for the work they do and for sure will be my dentist for life! Please do not hesitate to book with them! You won’t regret it I promise!!Posted on Barb BacalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Sucheta is simply the best!! I have extreme fear of dental needles and I have no clue how she does it - it’s like magic you don’t feel them. She is so kind, funny and caring. And of course not to forget the front end staff and hygienists.Posted on Maria KoumoundourosTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Sucheta and doctor Aliki are both superb! I have been going there for 20 years and I find the staff there very attentive to my family’s needs. When I had a dental emergency Dr Sucheta called me at home on her day off. Highly recommend!Posted on Ernest UszkayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In late June I experienced severe pain from an infected 12. Dr. Sucheta diagnosed the problem as a cracked tooth, prescribed an antibiotic and sent a referral request to CVOS for an extraction and possible implant. In the evening after the examination I suffered extreme pain and dental assistant Jean talked me through the pain over the 'phone and as she said the pain subsided after the antibiotic took effect. Befor the extraction, Dr. Sucheta separated tooth 11 from 12, which were joind together as a crown bridge. After the extraction and insertion of the implant anchor, Dr. Sucheta proceeded with the provison of a temporary crown aka "flipper" and later a permanent crown. She used the latest computer controlled scanning device to provide the dental lab with a 3D display of the implant area and now I can smile with a perfect permanent crown which was installed about aweek ago. Thank you Dr. Sucheta and CVOS.Posted on Trish BlanchardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been attending this dental practice for many years. I can happily recommend the services at Dentistry on Dunn. When I needed an implant Dr Sucheta directed me to a competent surgeon for the extraction and efficiently measured and installed the crown. Children should receive their first dental checkup about six months after their first tooth emerges.
The initial dental appointment promises an enjoyable experience, aiming to acquaint the child with the dental environment. During this appointment, we will perform an examination and administer teeth polishing. Furthermore, there will be a discussion about oral hygiene and dietary guidance. Additionally, it presents an excellent opportunity to address any inquiries or concerns you may have about your child’s dental health.
Children should conscientiously brush their teeth twice daily: once in the morning, preferably after breakfast, and once more before bedtime, to ensure impeccable oral hygiene.
Children under three years can initiate tooth brushing with fluoride-free training toothpaste. As they reach around three years old, the age at which they can effectively rinse and spit, it becomes suitable to introduce and consistently use fluoride-containing toothpaste.
Fluoride-containing toothpaste enhances tooth enamel, reducing the risk of bacteria that can lead to tooth decay affecting the teeth.
Absolutely! Children should adhere to the same flossing regimen as adults, aiming to floss at least once daily.
Indeed! It’s a recommendation that we should assist our children with brushing until they reach approximately eight years of age.
Sealants are protective coatings that are applied to the grooves of permanent teeth to prevent the formation of cavities. Typically, dentists usually implant them when the permanent molars have fully erupted.
Indeed, dental decay can develop as soon as children have teeth. Given that dental decay tends to progress more swiftly in children, it is prudent to follow the dentist’s prescribed schedule for regular X-ray examinations.
Typically, children tend to experience the shedding of their initial lower front incisor at around 4.5 to 7 years of age, coinciding with the eruption of their six-year molars.
Children can have an orthodontic assessment as early as 7-8 years of age, and the dentist will advise when it’s suitable for a consultation with an orthodontist.
